Terms & Conditions

Terms of Service, Payment, Refund, Cancellation, Shipping Policy

1. Service Agreement

By engaging Rahebar Jiwani for notary or consulting services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the provision of notarial acts and consulting services, as well as related payment, refund, and cancellation policies.

2. Description of Services

Rahebar Jiwani provides notary services, including notarizing documents, performing notarial acts, and offering mobile notary services. Additionally, we offer consulting services related to various professional needs. The service you request may include travel fees if a mobile notary is required.

3. Payment Policy

a. Payment After Transaction:
Payment for services is due after the completion of the transaction. Once the notary act or consulting session is concluded, the total fee (including any applicable travel fees) will be provided to you. Payment must be made in full at that time.

b. Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via cash, credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods. We also accept payment through our secure online payment portal, should you prefer that method.

c. Travel Fees:
If applicable, a travel fee will be charged in addition to the service fee for notary services that require travel. The travel fee is non-refundable, even in the case of cancellations or rescheduled appointments if canceled by the client.

d. Pre-authorization for Chargebacks:
By using our services, you authorize Rahebar Jiwani to present your card information to the card provider in the event of a chargeback dispute. Any fees related to chargebacks, including the travel fee, will be the responsibility of the customer.

4. Refund Policy

a. No Refunds After Service Completion:
All payments made for notary services or consulting services are final and non-refundable once the service is complete. This includes both the notary service fee and any travel fees.

b. Exceptions:
A refund may only be issued if Rahebar Jiwani is unable to complete the service for any reason (e.g., the notary arrives late and service is not rendered). Refunds will be provided in this instance for the service fee but not for travel fees.

c. Non-Refundable Travel Fees:
The travel fee will never be refunded. If the appointment is canceled after the notary has traveled to the location or if the appointment is rescheduled, the travel fee remains due and payable.

5. Cancellation Policy

a. Cancellation by Client:
If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in a forfeiture of the travel fee.

b. Failure to Appear:
If the client does not appear for the appointment, or if the required documents or identification are not provided, the appointment will be canceled, and the travel fee remains payable.

c. Late Arrival by Client:
If the client is more than 15 minutes late and the notary is unable to proceed with the notarial act, the appointment may be canceled, and the travel fee will still be due.

d. Rescheduling Policy:
If you wish to reschedule, we will work with you to find an alternative time. However, the travel fee is still due if the notary has already traveled to the original appointment location.

6. Shipping Policy

a. Document Shipping:
If you require notarized documents to be shipped, Rahebar Jiwani will ship your documents via USPS or another carrier of your choice. The cost of shipping will be added to your final invoice and is the responsibility of the client.

b. Shipping Delays:
Rahebar Jiwani is not responsible for any delays in shipping caused by the postal service or any other carrier. We will provide tracking information once documents are shipped, but once the documents are in the hands of the carrier, we are no longer responsible for their delivery time.

7. Force Majeure

Rahebar Jiwani will not be held responsible for any failure to perform our services if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your appointment but will not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from the inability to provide services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Rahebar Jiwani’s liability for any damages arising from our services will be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service provided. We will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our notary or consulting services.

9. No Guarantee of Outcome

While we will perform all notary acts and consulting services to the best of our abilities, Rahebar Jiwani does not guarantee any specific legal outcomes or results from the notarization of documents or consulting services provided. We are not responsible for the outcome of any legal or business matter related to the services provided.

10. Identification Requirements

All individuals requesting notary services must provide valid, government-issued identification (e.g., passport, driver's license, or government-issued ID card). The identification must not be expired at the time of the notarial act.

11. Witness Requirements

It is the client's responsibility to ensure that any required witnesses are available and meet the identification requirements for notarization. If you fail to provide witnesses, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment, and the travel fee will still apply.

12. Miscellaneous

a. Entire Agreement:
These Terms and Conditions constitute the full and complete agreement between Rahebar Jiwani and the client. Any previous agreements, whether written or oral, are superseded by these terms.

b. Right to Refuse Service:
Rahebar Jiwani reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion, provided such refusal does not violate any applicable law.

c. Changes to Terms:
Rahebar Jiwani reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing, and the updated terms will apply to all future services.
